"Just keep it out of the water until it stops moving." Seth called to Zamira after she emerged from the water with the fish in her maw. He was quick to take up his own fish and start back to the shore, having told her all he really needed to. She had the fish in her teeth so she was most of the way there and as it was he was quite surprised she had managed to catch something so quickly.
He flopped his fish down and took a bite out of it, knowing that, given their reasons for coming down here, carrying kills out on their den hunt would pretty much defeat the point in them having washed anyway.

After finally fishing her well fish out of the river. Zamira ate her fill of the scaled thing before flopping down. Watching the older wolf as she remained in silent thought. Her mother was gone... and now... now she would have to survive. This strange male was helping her but still. How could anyone ever replace her mother?

Seth picked his fish almost entirely clean of meat, wasting only the most worthless bits of flesh on the bones by the time he had finished. It was common sense to him to eat as much as he could since successful hunts were harder to count on when you worked alone. Without comment he stood up when he was finished, waiting for Zamira to be finished as well. His eyes ran over her again and he couldn't help but question why he hadn't just turned her over to the pack already. Sure he'd made that promise but he was quite sure that the pack was capable of looking after a pup, though she had potential that would be wasted among them.
Maybe he was just lonely, he mused for a moment before grinning to himself and standing to move off again without a word, by now expecting the pup to follow without having to be told to. If he was lonely he would have gone looking for a stray female to play with, not that the urge had grabbed him. No he was content in his solitude, something he was apparently going to give up for a while.

Zamira looked up quickly at this, finishing her meal she swiftly trotted off after him.
“ Hey wait up!” Zamira called out as she tripped and landed on her face before rebounding and running swiftly after his form.
“ Where we going now?” She asked him. Trotting alongside him with her ears perked forward and a playful romp in her step.

Seth didn't slow his pace as he made his way back to the stash of medicine plants he'd brought from his old den.
"We still need to find a new den, on big enough for the both of us and as well shielded from others as my last." He left out the reason why, he'd told her once and it didn't need repeating. The scent should be long gone now though and that meant they could concentrate on finding the new home without incident.
"So keep your eyes out for anything you find suitable." He told her before picking up his stash in his mouth once more. Finding his old den had been troublesome and finding a larger one would no doubt be more so. They might have to dig something out of one if they found it already occupied as well, though that wasn't ideal.

“ Are there any mountain area’s around here? The closer you get to where earth is pushed up the bigger the dens right?” She asked uncertain as she tilted her head and looked up to him for a moment as she stopped near his forepaws. Here eyes looked to him for any sign to tell her if she had been correct in her guessing. Trying to learn, what her mother could no longer teach her.

"You really would be wasted in that pack." Seth commented happily to himself, impressed wit her answer. He looked down at her and gave her a slight smile. "Of course that is right, though in a way that is also a problem, anyone with sense looks for dens where there should be some. Given the circumstances though that would be the best place to start. They aren't mountains per say but the terrain is a bit rockier at least." It wasn't ideal, his last den had been so well hidden, but then he had probably resided there too long anyway. Moving around is the only way to make sure you stay hidden.

Zamira looked to him a bit confused as he spoke something of a pack. She was about to ask him what pack when his words of praise reached her ears.
“ Yay! I was right!” She grinned, her tail held high as she looked about.
“ Hurry lets find the rocks! I want to sniff out the best den ever!” She chimmed happily in a excitable tone as most pups do. Starting to jump this way and that with renewed energy and stamina from the small meal earlier. Her brilliant orbs looked up smiling to her adoptive teacher.
“What was the best den you ever found?” She asked him curiously. Wondering what the older wolf had learn in his years since well. He had to be like a hundred right! Compared to her youthful age at least…

Seth rolled his eyes a little at the pups enthusiasm, he figured she loose that by about the tenth time they had to switch dens. Still it should been she'd be receptive to his lessons, might even end up learning quickly. Though he'd have to do something about her stubbornness, that could get her killed if she kept it up.
"The best den..." He started to reply after a few moments, his tail waving a little in thought. "The best one I found a little while back, it's main entrance was down a little tunnel between some rocks, nicely hidden by some bushes. The way the rocks were angled made it look like the passage got narrower but it curved round to the side and opened into a nice little den." He grinned a little to himself. "Ones that good are very hard to come by though, and we do have to be a little more worried about space."

“ Oooh cool…. A secret hideout.” She barked softly in that mysterious sort of puppyish voice of hers. She grinned at this. Bowing low as she smelled something slithering through the rocks. It smelled like reptile she thought to her self as she got into a stalking position. Her tongue was hanging out of the corner of her mouth as she tapped the rocks she had been walking over.
“ There’s a snake in here.” She spoke up suddenly. Tapping, and tapping, trying to make the snake run for it. Little did she know this snake was very dangerous as it started to rattle. It was the first time she had ever heard such a thing.
“It sings Uncle Seth it Sings!” She chimed. Giving the brute a name for her to call him without asking if this was okay or not. She bowed once more, now starting to bark at the ‘singing’ snake that was now getting very agitated being awoken from it’s slumber in the heated rocks of the land.
